Qantas is selling flights from London to Sydney for £205 return to celebrate centenary



Last week, Qantas successfully tested a non-stop flight from London Heathrow to Sydney .

Now, the Australian airline is selling 100 tickets from London to Sydney (with a stopover) at just £205 return to celebrate its centenary.

“For 100 hours only, we’ll be releasing 100 Golden Tickets. From midday each day, there’ll be 20 Golden Tickets from London Heathrow to Sydney, for just £205 Economy return,” the carrier says on its site.

“Plus, check out our Centenary Sale fares to Melbourne, Perth and Sydney from £699 Economy return.”

The sale began on Monday, November 18 and will continue until this Friday, November 22. At midday each day the airline will release 20 tickets on its site – and the flights will be on a first come, first served basis.

Today’s travel dates were outbound from April 11 to 15, 2020 and the return dates were selected dates between May and November 2020.

Qantas began its 100th year this past Saturday when it turned 99. This week-long sale also has discounted flights to Bangkok, Singapore, Bali, Phuket, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland among other destinations, starting at £483 return.
