Mama June’s life has been spiraling out of control after a failed attempt at rehab in March and a subsequent drug arrest. The latest is she has sold her belongings to live in an RV with bad-boy boyfriend Geno Doak.
So it’s a good thing her youngest child, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, has older sister Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon to lean on.
On Thursday the 19-year-old TV star took to social media to wish the former beauty pageant contestant a happy 14th birthday as she said she was proud to be her ‘sister mom’ while raising the child in her own home. Pumpkin has become Boo Boo’s legal guardian.

Pumkin is now Boo Boo’s legal guardian.
Honey Boo Boo has been living with Pumpkin for several months as she did not feel ‘safe’ residing with her mother June, who allegedly has declining health.
Taking to Instagram, she said: ‘Happy birthday to my not so little sister.’
She sahred a photo of Boo Boo sticking her tongue out.

She did not want to give in: June cried and broke down then went to rehab but left after 12 hours
‘Today you’re 14 and I’m so happy I get to spend it with you,’ she wrote.
‘Things haven’t been the easiest lately but I promise we will get through it,’ she continued.
‘I love being there for you when you need me most. And I enjoy being your sister mom. I hope today is all you wish for and more.’
In March the family tried to get Mama into rehab and she went for 12 hours but then left.

It was all documented on her reality TV series.
‘If this intervention doesn’t work, she’s mentally going to have an actual breakdown,’ Pumpkin told the cameras.
She then said to her mother: ‘Physically, it’s like you don’t care about your health. I’m concerned about you. We care about you. Alana cares about you. Jessica cares about you. [Your sister] Doe Doe cares about you. And it’s like everybody’s trying to get you back healthy, and you have tunnel vision, and the only person you see is Geno.’

Next Mama h- who also has kids is also mama to Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell and Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon – had a fight with her beau Geno Doak and police were called. Both were arrested as they were found with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, including a crack pipe and a pill bottle with white residue.
She admitted it was crack cocaine.
Since then Geno, who was drunk, crashed his truck into the garage of their Alabama home.
This summer they have been selling their personal possessions on Facebook.
And this week they moved out of their home and into an RV.
