PSG suspensions: Who is one yellow card away from missing Champions League quarters?

The Ligue 1 giants hold a 2-0 lead heading into their clash with United.

Goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe ensured a comfortable victory at Old Trafford.

PSG are firm favourites to progress into the Champions League quarter-finals, but with comeback king Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the United hot seat anything could happen.

Express Sport is on hand to reveal which PSG stars are in danger of missing the first leg of the quarter-finals through suspension.

Five stars could be banned for the first leg of their quarter-final draw if they are booked tonight.

Juan Bernat, Marco Verratti, Thilo Kehrer, Julian Draxler and Neymar are all one booking away from a one-game suspension.

PSG won’t have to worry about Neymar though.

The Brazilian superstar is still crocked and won’t feature in this crunch clash.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Thomas Tuchel explained his side will not take United lightly – especially given Solskjaer’s history with dramatic comebacks.

“It’s better to always be aware of the qualities of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer,” Tuchel said.

“He was one of the key players of the biggest era of this club.

“He was always ready to help, in 30 minutes, 20 mins, 10 or five.

“It’s the spirit that made him and this is the spirit of Manchester Utd, that they are ready for anything.

“They are a strong club with a strong history.

“It is totally normal that we respect his quality. It’s a big challenge for us.”

Tuchel also claimed he’s wary of the quality in United’s squad despite their lengthy injury list.

“Normally Manchester United play 4-4-2 with a diamond formation and two strikers who play wide,” he added.

“For this we need to find a solution. We clearly would like to control the pace of the game, control counter-attacks very early in the game. Both [Romelu] Lukaku and [Marcus] Rashford are quick and very strong players, so we need to be wary.

“With Leo Paredes, Marquinhos, we have three in the middle and I’m very happy with these three.”
