Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar says he would be keen to play alongside Eden Hazard in the future as the Chelsea winger appears to be nearing a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has enjoyed arguably his best campaign in a Chelsea shirt this season, scoring or assisting 29 goals in the Premier League, but looks increasingly likely to leave west London.

He is out of contract in 2020 and has been stalling over renewal talks, with Real Madrid ready to spend £100million to bring him to the Bernabeu this summer.

But Neymar would love to see PSG make a move of their own and believes the pair would light up Ligue 1 if they were on the same team.

‘I would like to play with Hazard. He has a style similar to mine,’ Neymar told Fox Sports Brazil.

‘I think I could give it a try. We would cause havoc together!’

Of course, it might not be in Paris that the two players link up, with Neymar having himself been linked with a move to Real despite his previous ties to rivals Barcelona.

The Brazilian – who has been handed a three-match Champions League ban for his remarks after PSG’s exit against Manchester United – refused to rule out a move to the Bernabeu in March, saying ‘anybody would want to play there.’

However, Real have reportedly cooled their interest in Neymar given the enormous bid it would take to prise him away from the French champions, and have instead made Premier League duo Hazard and Paul Pogba their top targets.
