PS4 free games boost: New free download announced after PlayStation Plus reveal

PS4 free games news is today headlined by the reveal of a brand new PlayStation download that won’t cost Sony fans a single penny.

PS4 fans have had plenty of free games news this week, with Sony a few days ago announcing the next PlayStation Plus line-up.

The September 2019 PS Plus line-up will feature two free PS4 games – Arkham Knight and Darksiders 3.

These new PS Plus titles will be available to download next week on Tuesday September 3.

And not long after that PS4 fans will have another new PlayStation 4 title that they can download for free.

It’s been revealed that on Tuesday September 10 a brand new free-to-play RPG will be launching on the PS4.

Caravan Stories is an anime-inspired MMORPG that has been available in Japan for awhile now.

But on Tuesday September 10 the free-to-play RPG will be launching in the West on the PS4.

Caravan Stories boasts an eye-catching watercolour art style and features typical MMORPG staples like giant raid battles and huge monsters to fight.

It also boasts an old-school real-time turned-based combat system which will appeal to those that grew up on SNES and PS1 JRPGs.

Players in Caravan Stories will be able to recruit other party members and monsters to fight alongside them too.

In total there are over 300 unique monsters that players will be able to try and tame in Caravan Stories.

The game’s official Twitter revealed the Western PS4 release date earlier this week.

The account tweeted: “The wait is almost over!

“‘Caravan Stories’ will be available to download and free to play September 10!

“Get your gear ready, rally your friends, and #WriteYourStory”.

In other PS4 free game news, PlayStation fans can right now play a hugely popular title for free for a limited time only.

Earlier this week Ubisoft launched a free week for Rainbow Six Siege that is running on all formats.

The Rainbow Six Siege free week started on Wednesday August 28 and will be running until Wednesday September 4.

If you like what you see during the Rainbow Six Siege free week and want to get the full version then you’ll be able to at a reduced rate.

Rainbow Six Siege will be available at up to 70 per cent off across all platforms for a limited time.

And any progress made during the Rainbow Six Siege free week will carry over to the full version if you upgrade.
