‘Proud mum’: Victoria Beckham shares Harper’s Black Lives Matter homework poster

Victoria Beckham has proudly shared her daughter Harper’s school poster that she made in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Sharing the poster to her Instagram story, Beckham said she was “proud” of her eight-year-old daughter.

“Harper Seven’s homework,” she wrote. “Kisses from a proud mummy.”

The poster shows white and black hands linked together, both 12 year old girls, with labels surrounding each hand.

The poster is bordered by the words “we can do better,” while at the bottom, Harper wrote: “Names society has given us. Do you think this is fair?”

Harper also made her father proud this week by showing off her prodigal football skills.

Her footballer father David, 45, shared a clip of Harper leaping into the air after kicking the ball around their Cotswolds home.

He also shared a photo of Harper lacing up her colourful football boots, wearing a “girl power” beaded bracelet in a nod to Victoria’s Spice Girls days.

“Bend it like Harper (BECKHAM),” David wrote in his caption, harking back to the 2002 film Bend It Like Beckham, the title of which played on his infamous free kick-scoring abilities.

Harper, their youngest child, is apparently the only one taking after her father’s career, with David telling the Graham Norton Show in 2018 he was heartbroken his sons did not share his passion.

“Harper is playing every Sunday and loves it,” he told Norton. “The boys don’t play and it’s heartbreaking.

“They have a talent but it’s down to Harper now. I get very enthusiastic when watching her.”
