Priyanka Chopra on being married to Nick Jonas: 'I've never heard a guy say that'


While film producer and actress Priyanka Chopra, 37, opened up about her and Nick Jonas’, 27, relationship, the actress revealed the one thing that she didn’t expect her husband to say about her. The couple’s first face-to-face encounter was at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in 2017.

While speaking to Diane Von Furstenberg on her podcast, InCharge with DVF about the incredible power she feels when she is with her husband, Nick Jonas, Priyanka reflected on the one thing that Nick once told her which still surprises her to this day.

The producer told Diane how they keep their marriage strong two years on and said: “We wrote like five things that we love about each other,”

“And the first thing he said was your ambition. I’ve never heard a guy say that”, the star continued.

Priyanka, who starred in 2017’s Baywatch, then went on to reveal: “I always tell him that.

The columnist then said she finds this new “reality” crazy as she wrote: “We have always had such crazy schedules and had so many people around us all day and all of a sudden, this being our reality, it just feels crazy.

“I am sure all of you feel the same way”, Priyanka concluded.

After the star reached out to her 25 million followers, one wrote back to the writer: “I love you, sis, care for yourself please,”(sic) while another said: “Thank you so much for always using your platform and influence to spread awareness and keep us informed #TogetherAtHome.”

One follower, however, advised the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to stop touching her face “repeatedly” as they commented: “Pls don’t touch your face repeatedly mam!” (sic).

Following on from sharing updates of her self-quarantine with her followers on Twitter, Priyanka has also announced that her #Covid19 Q&A will be postponed until further notice.

She wrote: “Unfortunately, we’ve had to postpone today’s #Covid19 Q&A with Dr Tedros and Maria Van Kerkhove of the World Health Organisation & Hugh Evans of Global Citizen.

“We will announce new details very soon!”, Priyanka added.

Priyanka has worked with UNICEF’s campaigns since 2006, she was also assigned as the national and global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for child rights in 2010 and 2016.
