If we’d just landed our own Netflix movie, then we’d probably look as chuffed as Priyanka Chopra did this morning.
The actress, 37, stepped out in New York with her mother on Tuesday as she headed to an event and that ‘just bagged a job’ confidence was in full swing.
Looking oh-so chic, Priyanka stunned in a stylish monochrome striped dress that featured a cheeky slit at the thigh and cool fringing.
She teamed her frock with cool black shades and seemed pretty pleased with herself as she strolled through the streets of NYC.
Why, you ask? Well, Priyanka has just landed herself a new film on Netflix titled The White Tiger.
According to the streaming site’s See What’s Next Twitter account, Priyanka will star and executive produce the movie that is an adaptation of Man Booker – a prize-winning novel by Aravind Adiga.
She will star alongside Rajkummar Rao and ‘newcomer’ Adarsh Gourav, while Ramin Bahrani will write and direct the feature.
Girl did good.
Priyanka will no doubt be celebrating with husband Nick Jonas, who she tied the knot with in 2018.
Despite being joined in holy matrimony as husband and wife, it seems Priyanka still isn’t completely clued up on Nick’s age.
She had congratulated the Jonas Brothers star on landing his own tequila brand, but awkwardly commented that Nick was 27, when actually he’s still 26.
Fans were quick to pick up on the age-slip and were seen correcting a no doubt red-faced Priyanka on her post. To be fair, though, it is only a matter of weeks until Nick turns 27, so she wasn’t completely off.
Nick, meanwhile, has been busy making a comeback to the MTV VMAs for the first time in 11 years with brothers Kevin and Joe.
Oh, and he’s also been toying with the idea of starting a band with wife Priyanka and Mariah Carey.
