Princess Eugenie wears Peter Pilotto for first time since her royal wedding

London-based fashion house Peter Pilotto became a part of history last October when Princess Eugenie walked down the aisle in a bespoke jacquard weave wedding dress by the brand to wed Jack Brooksbank.

The nuptials were over six months ago, but the luxury label continues to hold a special place in the princess’s heart and, on Wednesday, the newlywed stepped out in another creation by Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos, who head up the brand.

The 29-year-old wore a summery blue and coral gradient midi dress with metallic gold leaf pattern from Pilotto’s spring/summer 2019 collection, which currently retails for £1,900.

The vibrant ensemble marked the first time Eugenie has been seen in the designer since her wedding day.

Wednesday saw the royal keep a busy schedule, first attending the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Presentations at Buckingham Palace with the Countess of Wessex and Prince Edward, before joining her older sister, Princess Beatrice, at the Animal Art Ball Private View.

For the evening event, Eugenie accessorised her look with a M2Malletier gold handle handbag and the same Valentino studded stilettos she’d worn earlier in the day.

Princess Eugenie isn’t the first royal to continue to champion her wedding dress designer after her big day.

Givenchy has become a staple in Meghan Markle’s wardrobe since her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018, while Kate Middleton is no stranger to wearing Alexander McQueen for royal occasions.
