While the world was mostly focused on whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have or haven’t had their new baby, Princess Charlotte has stolen the spotlight (and our hearts!) on her fourth birthday. We know, how is she four already?
Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a trio of new portraits on the eve of her birthday and she looks the spitting image of her dad and grandmother.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday tomorrow,” reads the statement from Kensington Palace, which was released alongside the photos on the Kensington Royal social media accounts.
The gorgeous new snaps were taken by amateur photographer Kate at both the family’s Amner Hall estate in Norfolk and at Kensington Palace showing little Charlotte playing outside.
In one of the snaps, Charlotte is enjoying the spring weather at Kensington Palace, chilling on the grass in a pretty blue floral dress. The other two candid shots were taken at Amner on the same day as the family were spotted at the Burnham Market Horse Trials, hanging out with their Tindall cousins, showing Charlotte running with a daffodil and climbing on a gate.
Last year the Duke and Duchess decided not to release any birthday pictures of Charlotte so we are super pleased to see the royal tradition Kate and Wills started is back another year.
