Prince William, Kate Middleton and Mary Berry sign up for A Berry Royal Christmas cooking show and we cannot wait

Picture how great your fave cooking shows like The Great British Bake Off are.

Then add in Prince William, Kate Middleton and the legend that is Mary Berry.

And you get the Christmas special of your dreams, A Berry Royal Christmas – a one-off special episode that we literally cannot wait for.

As in it really needs to happen soon, we need it in our lives.

The episode will see Mary cooking some of her favourite Christmas recipes for viewers to try out and cook for their loved ones.

The baking legend will also be helping the two royals prepare for some of their big events over the Christmas period. The episode will take a look at the causes Kate and Wills support and thank everyone who is volunteering over the festive period.

You’ll see Kate and Mary travel to Liverpool to visit The Brink, the UK’s first dry bar set up by Action on Addiction.

They’ll also head to The Passage, the UK’s largest resource center for homeless and insecurely housed people which has already helped 130,000 individuals.

Mary will also join Kate at RHS Wisley as the Duchess shares her commitment to raising the next generation of happy and healthy children

And then the episode will end in what sounds like the best Christmas party ever.

As a thank you to everyone who is working and volunteering for organisations and charities over the festive period, the royal couple are throwing a big bash.

Mary will be on hand to advise on the Christmas menu as William and Kate get involved with the party prep in the kitchen.

There’ll also be an appearance from Nadiya Hussain, who won the sixth series of the Great British Bake Off in 2015 and is now a celebrity chef.

Mary Berry said she’s totally ‘honoured’ that the royal couple invited her to join them on their engagements this Christmas.

She said: ‘It will be truly special to see the causes so close to their hearts, as well as to hear all about the amazing support these charities provide.

‘The finale is a big Christmas party and I will be cooking up a feast for them to enjoy.

‘A one hour Christmas special not to be missed.’

A Berry Royal Christmas will air on Monday 16 December at 8.30pm on BBC One.
