Prince Harry 'isolated after leaving circle of friends six months into Meghan Markle's pregnancy'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have separated themselves from the Royal Family and are now faced with rebuilding their lives.

The pair are now no longer senior royals after having their wish granted to turn their backs on Britain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently added a bit of glitz to Vancouver Island in Canada after spending the festive period abroad however it’s not all what it seems, according to the magazine Meghan ‘s friends speak to.

Prince Harry will arrive in North America “cut off” from many of his close friends he once loved so much.

Harry and Meghan will no longer use their HRH titles

People magazine claim “about six months into” Meghan‘s pregnancy with son Archie, the Prince left his circle of pals behind seeing him increasingly surrounded by his wife’s friends.

“Most no longer even have his cell number,” a source told the respected magazine.

“They totally understand that men often drift from their friends after marriage, but there’s still a lot of resentment because they had been so close for so long.”

Now following Saturday’s announcement by the Queen, the Prince is due to arrive back on Vancouver Island this week to be reunited with his wife and son to plan their new futures together.

Before Harry and Meghan were the royal couple self-appointed to modernise the monarchy, the Mirror reports.

But after “stepping back” from royal duties, the pair will today begin the arduous task of house hunting across the pond and finding schools Archie will one day attend.

“This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity,” the couple wrote on their website.

On Saturday the Queen revealed that Harry and Meghan’s North American home would be in Canada.

“There will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK,” reads the statement.

The couple has made no secret of their love for the country.

Meghan spoke about both the splendour of Canada and the “warmth” of its people following the couple’s Christmas break on Vancouver Island.

“Just to be able to take in the warmth that we experienced from the people but also just to walk around and just see the beauty of Canada,” she said.

“To see Archie go ‘ahhh’ when you walk by and just see how stunning it is, so it meant a lot to us.”

Exactly where the Sussexes will live in Canada has yet to be announced publicly, but some locations are more likely than others.

Meghan is said to be particularly keen on Toronto, calling the city her “second home” after spending seven years there as she filmed the US legal drama Suits.

Yesterday it emerged the Duchess had held clothes into storage in Toronto hinting she may have always held ambitions of returning to Ontario to one day live there again.

Toronto has several well-heeled neighbourhoods including Forest Hill and Deer Park, where Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney lives.

But if the couple is prepared to spend a chunk of their £35 million fortune, the ultra-exclusive Bridle Path – dubbed Canada’s Beverly Hills – is where Harry and Meghan would rub shoulders with the A-listers they now appear to crave.

Rapper Drake, singer Celine Dion and the late singer Prince all owned homes within the celebrity oasis.

Toronto is also ideally placed to offer Archie an education steeped in British and royal heritage.

The city’s Upper Canada College, a private boys’ school, is modelled on Eton – where Harry was educated.

The Prince’s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, has strong ties with the school being on its board of governors until he retired three years ago.

Boarding school Lakefield College in the province of Ontario is also an option. Harry’s uncle Prince Andrew spent a year there in 1978.

Meghan is also well connected in Toronto previously being a staple of the city’s social elite.

Although Harry has no known friends there, the Duchess is extremely close to Mulroney and her TV presenter husband Ben – son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

Meghan is also close to Markus Anderson, who rose through the ranks at London’s Soho House hotel and members’ club before being sent by founder Nick Jones to open Toronto’s own venue.

It was here he met Meghan and the two became firms friends.

It was Anderson, now a close confidant and fixer for the Duchess , who introduced her to rich and powerful friends such as the Clooneys.

Meghan once said of Toronto: “It’s really funny because I think as much of a big city as Toronto is, it’s so different from LA or New York. There (are) no paparazzi, so it’s really easy to just have a normal life.”

It’s possible Meghan feels that Toronto could give her family that “space to focus on the next chapter,” as she and Harry put it in their announcement.

But despite the lure of the Ontario city, speculation is mounting the couple could choose Canada’s Pacific west coast as their base.

The Royals have spent the last seven weeks on Vancouver Island which boasts Pearson College as a possible school for Archie.

The establishment is one of 18 schools and colleges around the world in the UWC movement, which was set up to promote the principles of peace and international understanding.

Built on the shore, it has an ecological reserve and marina while its values are closely aligned to Harry and Meghan’s.

The island would also ensure the couple the peace they value amid a backdrop of breathtaking scenery.

Alongside the 12,000 sq ft £11.4 million mansions they are currently staying in in North Saanich , they are surrounded by other millionaires and rich retirees who move to the Island for a quiet life.

The couple could also move to the Vancouver on the mainland with them reportedly eyeing up a £21 million home close to Kitsilano beach.

Both Toronto and Vancouver have flourishing TV and film industries, which may well be a draw for Meghan if she wants to return to acting or pursue a career as a director, as has been rumoured.

Industry tax breaks have seen both cities double their share of film locations for big-budget US movies and TV shows.

But the Vancouver would also provide a perfect base for Meghan as it is only a three-hour plane ride to Los Angeles where she grew up and her mother, Doria Ragland, still lives.

There she has assembled an elite Hollywood team she secretly retained throughout her time in the British royal family and who are now poring over a host of multi-million dollar offers.

They include agent Nick Collins of The Gersh Agency, whose clients include Tobey Maguire and Jamie Foxx.

He is handling lucrative film, TV and philanthropic offers and opportunities on behalf of the couple from around the world.

Amal Clooney and George Clooney are pals with Harry and Meghan

Meghan’s Beverly Hills business manager Andrew Meyer is also working behind the scenes planning her next major moves, while Hollywood power lawyer Rick Genow is also heavily involved.

The team’s creation fuels rumour the Duchess’s ultimate dream is to move back to California eventually but is claimed to be refusing to do so while Donald Trump is President.

Los Angeles would also prove problematic in terms of the couple’s privacy as the city is the paparazzi capital of the world.

America though, would place them closer to the Duchess’s business, Frim Fram Inc after she moved the firm to Delaware – a US state used by the super-rich to protect their interests from scrutiny.

She moved out of California in December and incorporated in Delaware, which tax experts suggest could be done to avoid being hit with tax liabilities in California.

Registering a company there does not require the disclosure of the identities of the owners, and for as little as £39, the owners can hire a registered agent to represent them.

All financial information relating to the company is kept confidential.

The move hints Meghan plans to keep her and Harry ‘s business as secret as possible.
