Primark is selling L.O.L Surprise notebooks, pens and stickers from just £1.50


IF you’re a parent or know anyone with kids under the age of 13, chances are you’ll be aware of the L.O.L doll phenomenon.

Children everywhere have been going crazy for the cute toys and accessories since they hit the shops three years ago – now Primark are getting in on the action, becoming the first high-street retailer to stock an L.O.L Surprise range.

If you hurry, you can buy really cute L.O.L Surprise notebooks, pens and stickers with prices starting at a very affordable £1.50 – perfect for scribbling stories and secrets!

The budget retailer also stocks T-shirts, leggings and sunglasses, with prices ranging from £2.50 to £7.00.

The L.O.L craze has been steadily growing since the dolls made their debut in 2016, according to an article in Forbes, shops selling the first batch of L.O.L dolls in America completely sold out during the Christmas holiday that year.

Sales of the toys increased by a massive 500% every week subsequent to the launch with The L.O.L Surprise doll selling over 2.5 million in the first five months.

That’s a lot of plastic!

Last year, The Atlantic reported that a staggering 800 million L.O.L Surprise toys have been sold worldwide. 

The dolls received a huge celebrity endorsement at an L.A fashion show in November last year, when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West made her runway debut at the L.O.L Surprise fashion show, dressed as her favourite doll.  

With their cute faces and bright accessories it’s easy to see why the dolls success endures making them the must-have toy for kids everywhere.
