Now, Primark shoppers can get their hands on an advent calendar based on the Hogwarts Express.

It’s the train in J.K. Rowling’s popular series that transports young wizards and witches from Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

This miniature version, launched in time for the festive season, features 24 little drawers to fill with some magical treats.

At £15, it doesn’t come cheap – particularly as you’ll need to purchase its contents – however, unlike most of its cardboard counterparts, this is one you can keep rolling out Christmas after Christmas.

Sharing a video of the Harry Potter-inspired product on Instagram, the budget brand wrote: “Fresh from Platform 9¾, our Harry Potter Hogwarts Express advent calendar has arrived into selected stores.

“Fill the drawers with whatever magical treats you like and wait patiently for the start of December…

“Anyone else now ridiculously excited to start the Christmas countdown already?!”

Potterheads revealed their delight, with many tagging their friends in the post viewed thousands of times.

Another commented: “OMG, I need one!”

A third told their pal: “Please get me one. PLEASE.”

Another told a loved one: “I will allow these on the mantle piece.”

Earlier today, we told you how a mum recalled the heart-breaking moment she realised her autistic son had no friends.

We also revealed how a mum created an incredible mini playroom under the stairs by spending just £150 at Wilko.

And these are the best eerily awesome kids’ Halloween costumes on a budget.
