Prince Charles presented inspiring domestic abuse survivor Rebecca Beattie with an award during Sunday’s emotional Pride of Britain Awards.
Brave Rebecca overcame horrific domestic abuse and went on to launch her own clothing brand, Always B U.
The business owner thought she had been invited to Clarence House for a routine celebration with fellow ambassadors of The Prince’s Trust charity.
But while chatting to Love Island’s Laura Whitmore, she was gobsmacked when HRH Prince Charles walked in behind her.
Rebecca wasn’t the only one in tears during the touching moment as viewers were left emotional during the segment.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Rebecca, what a woman. Respect.”
Another added: “Charles surprising Rebecca is just gold. I am not crying..”
A third said: “Wow, Rebecca and Charles I feel tearful. Brave lady.”
While a fourth added: “I am in tears watching Rebecca and Prince Charles.”

Telly star Laura told Rebecca: “We actually have a very important person that has just arrived behind you!”
Rebecca gasped and stood up to greet the Prince, and he said: “I am so glad to see you, I know it’s terrible shock for you, isn’t it awful!”
He added: “I have been so full of admiration reading about everything you have had to endure, what makes me even more proud d of the the fact you have won Prince’s Trust young Achiever Award for the Pride of Britain.”
Rebecca wept as she said: “Wow, I am blown away oh my gosh, to be able to show this to my son and make him realise and others realise that anything you put you mind to you can achieve.”

Rebecca was subjected to horrific domestic attack that left her with multiple facial fractures and barely able to breathe.
She was a college teenager when she got together with her ex-partner more than a decade ago.
Within months she was pregnant but her boyfriend first became jealous and controlling, then violent and threatened to kill her.
Her attacker was arrested and jailed in 2012.
She attempted to rebuild her life with her son, Theo 11, but struggled to buy even basic items because her ex had left her heavily in debt.
As part of her recovery, Rebecca had a six-week course for survivors of domestic violence.
She was determined to turn her negative experiences into a positive to help others and decided to start ethical clothing company Always B U.
