Troian Bellisario has revealed that attending Meghan Markle‘s wedding to Prince Harry was a ‘nightmare’ for her.
The Pretty Little Liars star told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday that she was terrified of having to wear a fascinator headpiece at the May, 2018 festivities.
The 34-year-old explained she had ‘extreme anxiety’ about ‘those hat things’.

‘Fascinators. They look ridiculous unless you’re in the 1930s. You could get one that is an absolute piece of art, but then are you being too vain and trying to call too much attention to yourself?
‘Or if you get a fascinator that’s very small, are you not going for tradition? I’d never needed a fascinator in my life, and here I was trying to walk this tightrope of ‘don’t go too big, don’t go too small’. It was a nightmare.’
The star worried that the British press would ‘tear her apart’ if she wore the headpiece incorrectly.

Troian, who attended the wedding with her husband Patrick J Adam, 38, was also pregnant, and concerned that her bump would be seen and her secret revealed.
‘I was trying to conceal the fact that I was five months pregnant. I was absolutely positive that it was going to be revealed,’ she added.
Troian and Patrick welcomed their baby daughter in 2018, and the secretive pair revealed her name was Aurora a year later.

The couple met on the set of the play Equivocation in 2009.
The couple briefly split, but got back together after his guest appearance in Pretty Little Liars in 2010.
They tied the knot on December 10, 2016 in Santa Barbara, two hours north of Los Angeles.
