Premier League transfer gossip and rumours

Pogba and Dybala to swap?

Italian champions Juventus have told Manchester United that they are interested in re-signing Paul Pogba.

French midfielder Pogba spent four seasons with Juventus before rejoining United in 2016. Juve will face competition from Real Madrid for the 26-year-old.

The Guardian reports that the Turin club have “turned their attentions” to the World Cup winner as they aim to sign a world-class midfielder before next season.

However, they don’t have the funds to fork out a huge fee for Pogba so they may offer players as part of the deal.

Paulo Dybala could be used as a makeweight in the Pogba deal, says the Daily Express, while Alex Sandro, Douglas Costa, Joao Cancelo or Miralem Pjanic are other possible options for an exchange.

Maddison on the move?

Four Premier League clubs – Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur – are keen on Leicester City’s James Maddison. The 22-year-old playmaker is reportedly valued at £60m by the Foxes. (Daily Star)

£85m for Maguire

James Maddison’s team-mate Harry Maguire could also be on the move this summer. Previously linked with Manchester United and Manchester City, England defender Maguire has been told by Leicester they will not stand in his way if they receive an £85m bid. (TeamTalk)

Manchester City are in pole position to sign Joao Felix after triggering the £106m release fee in his Benfica contract. The 19-year-old is also a target for Manchester United and Real Madrid. (The Sun)

La Liga giants eye Lacazette

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, with the French forward known to be bitterly disappointed at the prospect of more Europa League football next season.

Eriksen wants a new challenge

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has told Real Madrid that Christian Eriksen is not for sale, the Daily Mirror reports.

However, the playmaker’s contract expires in 2020 and in an interview with Danish outlet Ekstrabladet he admitted he is open to a move.

“I feel that I am a place in my career where I might want to try something new,” he said. I have the wildest and deepest respect for everything that has happened in Tottenham, I won’t be negative but I have also said that I would like to try something new.”
