Posing in a navy blue bikini, Belle captioned the post: “Loving my pregnancy body, weight gain isn’t a negative thing! Don’t ever feel ashamed.”

Giving an update on her little one, the mum-to-be added: “Baby is roughly the size of a papaya and 36cms long.”

Although the majority of fans were quick to comment on how slim the pregnant model looks, others were preoccupied with the size of her baby bump.

One replied: “I’m literally so intrigued with your pregnancy, it’s amazing how little your tummy is! I can’t believe how different everyone’s bodies can be.”

Baffled by Belle’s baby bump, another added: “[You don’t] seem pregnant at all. Are you sure you’re 27 weeks?”

Meanwhile, a second critic wrote: “You literally have not gained any baby weight wtf?”

Although Belle pointed out that she has put on a stone and a half over the course of her pregnancy, the user added: “You’re so tiny though.”

Defending herself against the critic who said they’d “feel robbed” of their pregnancy without “a big round belly”, Bell wrote: “I still experience kicks and everything else – the same as any other pregnancy.”

Last month, the Australian model was praised for not editing her “veiny” breasts in another photo of her baby bump.

She wrote: “I know I got a veiny chest. Happens because your blood volume increases by 50% when pregnant and they go away after pregnancy when your blood volume returns.”

The influencer was quickly inundated with positive comments, with many praising her decision not to edit her veins out of the shot.

One follower wrote: “I love that you don’t Photoshop the veins in your chest! I’m 31 weeks and have yet to get the boobs.”

Another message read: “Love how true the photo is.”
