Pregnant Katherine Schwarzenegger and her mom don matching body positive sweaters on hike

Both women wore baseball caps – Katherine wore a black cap, while Maria donned a white one – and the pregnant wife of Chris Pratt kept hydrated with a big keep cup.

Katherine began dating Chris in June 2018 after reportedly being set up by her mom, Maria, who is a member of the famous Kennedy family.

Just six months later, Chris announced on his Instagram page that he was engaged to Katherine on January 13, 2019.

Chris and Katherine are yet to announce their pregnancy, but reports in April 2020 appeared to confirm the happy couple were set to have their first child together.

According to People, the couple were excited to “expand their family as soon as possible”.

The new baby will be the second child for Chris, who shares 7-year-old son Jack with actress and ex-wife Anna Faris.

Katherine has spent a lot of time with her famous parents recently, after going for a bike ride with Chris and her dad.

Her action star father, 72, and the Marvel actor, 40, wore protective gear while the 30-year-old expecting mother did not cover her face despite strict guidelines in the city to do so.

According to E! Katherine’s due date is around September/October 2020.

A source told the outlet: “They are completely thrilled to be starting a family. Family is everything to them and it’s a very exciting time.

“The baby is due early fall. Katherine shared the news with her family very early on.”

It’s a big year for Chris who was set to star in a brand new military drama called The Terminal List, which will be released on Amazon Prime.

He will also try his hand as an executive producer as he makes his return to television after landing major film roles such as the lead in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

According to Amazon, the series truly values and appreciates US military veterans and their stories regarding their experience on the front lines.

At least half of the writing team for the show have relatives who are veterans, or are veterans themselves and the production team also planned to have veterans and their families feature as in some parts of the series.
