The final and sixth season of Power is in full swing now and has gripped fans around the globe. However, following the news that episode nine, Scorched Earth, wouldn’t be on Starz or Netflix this week, speculation is rife the series has been cancelled. Rapper 50 Cent further added to the rumours in a recent post on his Instagram page.
So while there was no Power this week, it was only because of a one-week pushback, not a series cancellation.
The final season will return on Sunday on both Starz and the Starz App.
UK-based fans will be able to tune in once again the following day as episode nine will premiere on Netflix on October 28.
Judging by the action-packed promo for the next episode, fans will not want to miss Scorched Earth.
Power season 6 continues on Starz every Sunday and Netflix every Monday.
