On YouTube replying to Power fan CarterMatt, one fan said: “I’m thinking Method Man might be Tasha’s lawyer & somehow is connected to Mary J’s character. He might be trying to get Tasha out of jail.”
A second agreed: “Tariq is gonna be the love interest of Mary J Blige’s daughter. Tariq won’t know who her mother is but she knows who Tariq is and Method Man is gonna be Mary J’s ex-husband who’s a lawyer that’s gonna represent Tasha.”
