Mermaids are just as popular as unicorns right now, and we’re seeing a lot of summer products with a magical sea theme this year.
Now Poundstretcher has jumped on the bandwagon by launching an inflatable that’s perfect for older kids or grown-ups who want to splash around in the pool this summer too.
The doughnut-shaped ring is covered with blue, green, silver, pink, and yellow scales and extends into a long fish-like mermaid tail.
Meanwhile, its underside is hot pink.
Matalan
The float is a lot cheaper than many other inflatables around.
It looks very similar to a £20 version on sale at Matalan and it’s £15.01 cheaper.
Meanwhile, Amazon also has a pink mermaid float but it’s £25.99.
But if you want more for your money, B&M has a set of five mermaid-themed pool floats for just £7.99.
The float was first spotted on the shelves at Poundstretcher by Donna Brough, who runs the Bag A Weekly Bargain Facebook group.
She called it “perfect for the summer”.
The aid is on sale in stores only, not online.
It’s recommended only kids aged eight and up use the toy as it’s a bit too big for younger ones.
