Curry ketchup is mainly sold in Germany, and we couldn’t find curry ketchup on sale in any other UK supermarket.

At 400ml, the bottles are a similar size to squeezy bottles of Heinz tomato ketchup

But, a 400ml bottle of Heinz tomato ketchup would set you back between £1.50 and £2 at Morrisons, Tesco and Asda.

So, at just £1 this rare flavour is a real bargain.

But, it might not be around for long.

In their post, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK said that as an imported product the flavour may only be available in selected stores, and could be gone quickly.

We contacted Poundland to ask how long the curry ketchup will be available for and will update this story when we get a response.

Lots of commenters on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page were eager to try the condiment, while others weren’t impressed.

One said: “Actually think this would taste amazing.”

But another added: “Had this before, not very nice.”

Many also pointed out that Heinz also sell a classic curry sauce – and apparently it tastes great on chips.

You can buy Heinz curry sauce for £1 in Poundland, and it’s also available for £2 in Asda and Sainsbury’s.

So, if you don’t manage to track down a bottle of curry-flavoured ketchup, you can at least try some yummy curry sauce with your tea.

There are over 500 Poundland stores in the UK, and you can find your nearest one using their store finder.

Speaking of unusual flavours, Walkers have brought back Brussels sprout flavoured crisps ready for Christmas.

Snack-lovers all over the UK have also struggled to track down the limited edition orange Twirl, and some think it doesn’t even exist.

And, if you hate stale chips, a McDonald’s insider has revealed how hungry diners can always get fresh chips if they ask for no salt.
