Pound to euro exchange rate: GBP remains stagnant following Labour & Tory TV clash

Although last nights television debate could have had a major effect on the rates, the outcome resulted in little certain answer for either party.

A snap YouGov poll judged Mr Johnson the winner of the debate by a wafer-thin margin of 51 percent to 49 percent.

During the debate, Corbyn and Johnson went head-to-head over policies surrounding the NHS, the economy and climate change.

With so much political chaos unfolding, what should travellers do when considering changing their money?

As in recent months, the best thing to do is keep an eye on political developments.

The 12 December election, in particular, will have a huge impact on the exchange rates, and the Brexit outcome following that.
