According to TMZ Pop Smoke’s family is finalizing the details of transporting his body back to New York after he was shot and killed in an apparent home invasion in Hollywood.
Sources say family and close friends will gather privately for a prayer and grief service at his Brooklyn church this Sunday.
The formal memorial and burial will be at a later date.
In the meantime his family, still reeling from their loss, has also been very involved in investigating his death, according to TMZ.
They’ve also been keeping the 20-year-old’s music business and label afloat, as well as interfacing with his lawyers in Los Angeles.

Pop Smoke, who’s real name was Bahar Jackson, died in an attack last week after gunmen enter the house he was staying at in the Hollywood Hills.
The coroner’s report later confirmed he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Officials said they had received a 911 call just before 5am local time on Wednesday from someone on the east coast that a friend’s property was being broken into.
No arrests have yet been made in the shooting.
Los Angeles Police are investigating whether the attack was a targeted hit.
Jackson was renting the home from Real Housewives star Teddi Mellencamp and her husband.
Social media pictures just hours before the rapper was shot and killed showed him posing with his Range Rover in front of the property, but also mistakenly revealed its address.
