Plebs Season 5: What time is it on tonight? Cast, how to watch and more



After a very long wait, sitcom Plebs returns tonight for the fifth series.

Plebs is a bizarre mix of modern humour and Roman culture.

It revolves around the story of young Roman Marcus Phillipus Valerio Gallo, his close friend Stylax Rufus Eurisces and slave Grumio.

The series follows them as they go on about their daily life in ancient Rome.

After a 17-month wait, Plebs returns for an eight episode season.

Who is in the cast of Plebs?

The comedy series stars Tom Rosenthal (Marcus), Ryan Sampson (Grumio), Jonathan Pointing (Jason), Tom Basden (Aurelius), Ellie Taylor (Gloria), Maureen Lipman (Landlady), Karl Theobald (Landlord), Samantha Spiro (Sylvia) and Danny Webb (Lepidus).

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden will also be joining the cast for season five as a “lusty” aristocrat called Rufina.

Guest stars throughout the season include Emilia Fox, Tony Robinson, John Thomson, Tracy Ann Oberman, Kevin Bishop, Leo Gregory, Nigel Lindsay and Phil David.

What time is Plebs on tonight?

Plebs is starting off with a double bill.

Plebs Season 5 starts on Monday, September 30 at 10pm on ITV 2.

It will be followed by episode two at 10.30pm.

The first episode is called The Vineyard, and the description reads: “The boys set off on a wine-buying trip to Tuscany, but when their cart has a collision on the road they are forced to pull in to a nearby village. Return of the comedy, with Tom Rosenthal, Ryan Sampson and Jonathan Pointing.”

The second episode is called The P**dos , and the description says: “Marcus offers to tutor Gloria’s teenage son Barney, while Grumio is mistaken for a schoolboy and soon finds himself recruited into the under-14s boxing team.”
