In a video shared on Facebook, the young boy could be seen, and heard, having the time of his life as his doting father used a washing basket as a makeshift roller coaster while they were cooped up inside their family home.

As they weren’t able to enjoy a fun day out at the amusement park,  the playful parents thought to bring the fun indoors and used a roller coaster POV clip on Youtube to imitate the look and feel and a real-life ride.

Joshua had perched himself inside the washing basket and said “OK, I’m holding on tight” before he breaks out into a fit off giggles as his dad takes him on a jolty ride and turbulent ride along the tracks.

Gripping  either side of the basket, the genius dad shook and moved the makeshift cart as if they were on a real-life the roller coaster, before giving his other two sons – Jaxon, four, and Kimi, two – a ride, too

The Joshua’s mum, Kayleigh Hughes,  filmed the uplifting video and posted it to a private Facebook group in hope other parents could benefit from their fun and simple home activity.

Captioning the photo, she wrote: “Couldn’t take the kids to Chessington, so my husband brought Chessington to them.”

And it seemed the little ones weren’t the only ones who loved the idea.

Unsurprisingly, many other parents thought it was genius, with the mum’s video racking up over 4k likes and attracted many comments from parents praising them on their efforts for entertaining their kids in a unique and fun way.

Some used words like “brilliant” and “fantastic” to express their amusement, while other suggested trying the idea on their own kids.

While another said: “That made my day..made me smile hearing that little boy laughing ..well done dad. “
