The 39-year-old, who was born Armando Christian Perez and grew up in the Little Havana area of Miami, is partnering with the vertical climbing machine producer.

Pitbull helped start SLAM! up seven years ago when the first of its schools opened its doors to pupils in Little Havana.

Now there are 11 SLAM! campuses and each of them will get a CLMBR machine in accordance with Pitbull’s new partnership.

The devices have ‘on-demand instructor-led climbing classes’ facilitated by a screen and speakers, according to the brand’s website.

Students at the 11 SLAM! schools will get to take the classes as and when they wish for free on their new donated machines.

Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce’s fitness instructor Marco Borges is also one of the celebrity partners of the brand.

So is sizzling Serbian tennis heartthrob Novak Djokovic, as well as tech mogul Chad Hurley who was one of the three founders of YouTube in 2005.

Jay’s investment in CLMBR comes after his wife teamed up with Peloton, which makes exercise machines that mimic cycling rather than mountain-climbing.

Beyonce’s partnership with Peloton also had a charity angle with machines being donated to Historically Black Colleges And Universities (HBCUs).

‘They’re already calling me “Mr. Education,”‘ Pitbull said around the time the first SLAM! school opened in Little Havana.

‘If sports is what you love, one way or another, it’s a business you can get involved with….whether you’re a therapist, an attorney, a broadcaster,’ he plugged, per NPR.
