Piers Morgan reveals bizarre meeting with Jim Carrey at the Super Bowl as they pose for selfie together

PIERS Morgan’s Super Bowl Sunday was topped off in A-list fashion with a Jim Carrey selfie.

The 56-year-old’s son Bertie clocked the Ace Ventura star on the back of a moving golf cart and moved quickly to get his dad to take a snap.

What he wasn’t expecting was Jim to recognise the British broadcaster and stop his buggy for a better picture.

Sharing a series of snaps of the Hollywood star on Instagram, Piers wrote: “When you come out of the Super Bowl, randomly spot Jim Carrey on a fast-moving golf cart, take a pic of your son (a massive Carrey fan) running backwards alongside him, and Jim clocks you, shouts ‘Wait…. PIERS MORGAN????!!Man, I’m sorry we’ve been so hard on you….hahaha.’ Then stops the cart, shakes my hand and poses for a group selfie. Only in Hollywood, baby.”

Piers’s eldest son Spencer commented that he was on the sofa while his brother and dad were experiencing one of the biggest sporting moments of the year.

The duo cheered on the LA Rams to victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in their second home of Los Angeles.

The Rams are owned by American billionaire Stan Kroenke, who also owns Piers’s beloved Arsenal FC.

Former Good Morning Britain star Piers was even treated to a performance of his all-time favourite rap song, 50 Cent’s In Da Club, during the half time show.

Fiddy performed alongside rap legends Dr Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and singer Mary J Blige in a blistering 15 minute spectacle.

In a powerful moment at the end of Em’s hit song Lose Yourself, the rapper took the knee with his head in his hands in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

It was reported the NFL warned the collection of iconic artists against making any gestures.

However, they later denied this as spokesman Brian McCarthy said: “We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that.”
