PIERS Morgan nearly tells his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid to “shut up” in a furious rant about Hugh Grant.
The host got into a heated rant about the actor after Hugh said “the country’s finished” in a clip while promoting the movie The Gentlemen.

Piers Morgan got so heated about Hugh he was almost rude to his co-hostSusanna Reid claimed Hugh Grant was being “sardonic” in the clip, but Piers did not believe it.
Piers said: “Let’s do a poll.”
Before Susanna interrupted: “No you’re obsessed with Hugh Grant. I don’t want to talk about Hugh Grant anymore.”
Piers then says: “Shu -” before catching himself and saying: “Excuse me. Excuse me. Susanna’s got a new trick where she dismisses any of my criticisms of people because she says I’m obsessed with them.”

Piers originally slammed the Love Actually actor on Twitter, labelling his views about the country post-Brexit as “disgusting”.
The GMB host said: “Hugh Grant is so disgusting. How dare he say Britain is ‘finished’?
“The only thing that’s finished is this stuck-up arrogant twerp’s credibility as any kind of political expert.”
This isn’t the first time the pair have clashed, in December after the general election result, the Good Morning Britain host urged Grant to “stick to the acting”, and suggested he should not get involved “in stuff you don’t know anything about.”

Piers continued his long-running feud with the Love Actually star on GMB this morning, laughing at the actor’s plummy voice and sarcastically congratulating him on his awful record.
He joked: “Hugh Grant campaigned for four different Lib Dem and Labour candidates.
“All four lost.
“100% loss record for Saint Hugh, who believed he had to step in to save the country.”
