As everyone eagerly awaits his return to Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan appeared to not be missing the daily grind one bit as he hung out on Lord Alan Sugar’s boat this week.

The presenter and journalist was loving life in St Tropez this week, as his family, including wife Celia Walden and kids, hopped aboard the Sugar Boat.

And what a boat it was.

Taking in the sights of the sea, Piers chilled out in the upper deck reading the paper. Because the news never stops, you know.

Slapping on the factor 50, Piers was well in the seafaring mood after spending the past week at sea on his break from the ITV breakfast programme.

Man’s going to come back with one stellar tan, we know it.

Living the dream, Piers (Picture: MEGA)

As Piers’s kids played about in the waves below on jet skis he couldn’t wait a minute longer as he ditched the paper and dipped into the water himself.

Expertly manoeuvring the pin drop, he had a paddle and we’re not jealous of this man’s life at all.

And he didn’t rub it in our faces at all.

Posting to Instagram, Piers made it clear his frenemy relationship with Lord Sugar was firmly in the friend zone this week as he cosied up to the Apprentice host.

Hey, friends with boat places, right?

Hanging out with Joan Collins, the pair then got to grips with a cigar as Piers posted a mid-puff piece to social media.

It’s not all that clear if the Morgan’s are staying on his mighty yacht, but they sure enjoyed a spot of lunch as they were joined by Donald Trump. Sort of.

Posing with a figure of the president, Piers wrote: ‘Lunch on @lord_sugar’s yacht, and fortunately we’ve been joined by a real Apprentice host billionaire.’

Always kicking in the boot.

It comes after Piers threw shade at Hugh Grant following the actor’s decision to take aim at Boris Johnson in a big way.

Sharing a shot of Hugh’s 1995 mug shot, it was seemingly in response to the 58-year-old actor slamming the British Prime Minister when he tweeted a video explaining his controversial plan to suspend Parliament.

But in response, the Good Morning Britain presenter shared a picture of Hugh’s police pic and captioned the grab: ‘Halo Hugh… Britain’s moral standard-bearer.’

Play nice, celebrities!
