Piers Morgan could not be more proud as he celebrated his son’s fantastic A Level results.

His youngest son, 18-year-old Albert ‘Bernie’ Morgan, achieved an astonishing three A* grades in his A Levels.

Bertie attended Wellington College, a renowned private school in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

Piers posted to Instagram a snap of him and his son sporting suits, as he joked that his son was a lot smarter than himself.

‘Congrats no3 @bertiemorgan on your 3 A*s. The apple fell in a different orchard to your old man (I only got ABC),’ Piers said.

‘Proud of you son, due reward for tremendous work ethic. And thanks to @wellingtoncollege for giving him a superb education.’

Meanwhile, fans in the comments had plenty of praise for Piers’ son.

‘Well done Bernie, follow in your mum and dads footsteps, can’t go wrong,’ one said.

Meanwhile, Piers’ oldest son, 26-year-old Spencer, joked in the comments that his younger brother was a ‘nerd’ due to these results.

Brotherly love!

It’s much happier news for the presenter, as it comes just after the death of his manager and long-term friend, John Ferriter.

In a Twitter post, the 54-year-old said: ‘RIP John Ferriter. My brilliant manager and ferociously loyal, kind, charismatic and super talented friend.

‘I trusted him with my life, and he enriched my life so much. Thank you John, for everything you did for me, and for my family.’
