Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, 55, had been querying why he couldn’t see his sons during lockdown, despite new rules allowing people to sunbathe over a public park within a two-metre distance.
Today, the presenter shared a picture of himself with his 26-year-old son Spencer on the hottest day of the year.
The pair were all smiles in the sun and gave a thumbs up to the camera, while standing two metres apart.
In view of his 1.1 million Instagram followers, Piers wrote: “Nice to see you again son, albeit from 2 metres. #3MonthReunion.”
Many of his fans flocked to his post to comment, with one writing: “So nice but when we hug our loved it will even better.”

He also previously tweeted: “I haven’t seen two of my sons for ten weeks. They live ten minutes away, next to a large common.
“Am I allowed to go and see them, if I stay two metres away?”
Spencer humorously replied: “No, stay away from us.”
“The answer appears to be no, yet I can see 1000s of strangers a day in my local park if I stay two metres away. Makes no sense,” Piers later tweeted.
