Piers Morgan blasts 'disgusting' tweet saying Brexiteers should be denied flu jab

The outspoken Good Morning Britain host re-tweeted a disturbing post from Terry Christian that suggested Brexiteers should no longer be entitled to flu jabs, adding “here’s to Mother Nature”. The TV personality said in fuming tweet: “Good grief. Well-known Remoaners – Grant, Pullman etc – seem to be competing amongst themselves to see who can be most disgusting. “This, from ⁦@terrychristian⁩, is a new low.”

The sick post from radio presenter Mr Christian read: “No Deal brexit will cause shortage of flu vaccine. Should have 2 queues at Doctors one for brexit one for remain.

“Brexit queue gets told they dont (sic) need vaccines as they were put together by experts they shpuld (sic) just believe harder.

“Only remains get vaccinated. It’s win win.”

The post was widely mocked by social media users.

One suggested the whole of the UK would suffer as a result of more than half the nation being denied the flu vaccine due to the illness spreading – regardless of the way Briton’s voted.

The reply said: “Would still damage herd immunity. We’ll all suffer for this one.”

Another commenter added: “Sorry old chap, there was a shortage of flu vaccine last year & most of us survived!

“Having suffered rationing, bombings, power cuts, illnesses that there were no vaccines for! We are tough as old boots, & will most likely outlive all the lily-livered remainers!!!”

A third commenter, who also referenced another sickening post, said: “This is so far beyond despicable I have no words. You should be ashamed of yourself and delete this tweet and the OAP one below. I condemn both in the strongest possible terms. If Remainers cannot be better than this they have lost already.”

Even Remainers called him out for the tweet.

One said: “We lost – get over it. What part of democracy can’t we understand?”

Another added: “Will be interested how much TV and radio presenting you’ll be doing after this tweet.”

Another added: “No Terry because we are better than that.”

Another said: “How awful of you I voted Remain but getting fed up with the vicious self righteous attitude of so many Remainers..how you getting the youth to vote and not picking on the elderly #nastylittlebully.”

The post by Mr Christian has been reported to the police, according to many of those who commented.

It is not the first time Mr Christian has posted tweets of a disturbing nature.

He bizarrely claimed all Brexiteers sell the Big Issue in another post from a follower condemning leave voters.

Mr Christian replied: “They’ll all be screwed and no sympathy. I won’t even buy a big issue off one.”

He also posted days ago: “Imagine when there are shortages of food fuel and medicines caused by No Deal brexit, the fury at those thick c**ts getting served.

“They voted to starve and die, let them.”

The post comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson flew to Balmoral this week to request the Queen prorogue Parliament.

She agreed, leaving Remainers next to no time to attempt to block a no deal Brexit as a result.

Protests took place across London, Manchester and even outside the homes and offices of Brexit supporting MPs.

Jacob Rees-Mogg’s home in Somerset was under police protection during the chaos.
