Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may have given another indication that he will extend his stay at Arsenal by holding a FA Cup victory party in Italy on Monday.

The striker has less than a year remaining on his contract with Arsenal and the Gunners are keen for their top scorer to extend his deal.

The 31-year-old remained tight-lipped when asked about his future after Arsenal beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley on August 1.

But reports have claimed that Arsenal are increasingly confident that Aubameyang will sign a new contract after being offered a significant rise on his current deal, plus assurances that the team will be strengthened under Mikel Arteta’s guidance.

And Aubameyang gave Arsenal fans even more hope after he featured in his brother’s Instagram live video on Monday evening.

Aubameyang explained that he was holding a family party in Italy to celebrate Arsenal’s FA Cup win this season, and the striker fully got into the spirit of the occasion as he dyed his hair red and white.

The house was full of red and white balloons, as well as huge ‘PEA 14’ foil balloons.

Aubameyang was also wearing Arsenal’s new home jersey with his own name and number on the back. His brother and the children attending the party were also wearing the same shirt.

Arsenal fans are convinced that Aubameyang’s latest appearance on Instagram suggests he will commit his future to the Gunners.

Arteta, meanwhile, has already made it clear that he is keen for the striker to remain at the Emirates Stadium.

‘He knows what I think about him, I want to build a squad around him,’ said the Arsenal manager.

‘I want him to stay, it’s about getting the deal done.’
