Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith took to celebrating their 26th anniversary together by sharing sweet tributes on social media.
And we honestly cannot believe it’s been that long.
The couple first met in 1994, eventually getting married in 2001, and they are still going strong today.
Taking to Instagram, the two both shared throwback pictures as they paid tribute to one another.
Pierce was first, posting an older snap of the two of them smiling at each other.
The James Bond star wrote: ‘My darling angel heart Keely, thank you for bringing such love and beauty into my life, for making these past twenty six years the greatest joy of my life… Happy anniversary my brown eyed girl.’
Meanwhile, Keely, who posted a throwback photo alongside a more recent picture, said: ‘Still celebrating the day we met… on a beach in Mexico.
‘Happy 26th my love 4/8 (1994).’
Our hearts cannot handle the cuteness.
The couple had met just a year before Pierce, 66, made his debut as James Bond in GoldenEye and they later tied the knot in 2001 at Ballintubber Abbey, in Pierce’s native Ireland.
He was previously married to Australian actress Cassandra Harris from 1980 until she died in 1991, following a battle with ovarian cancer.
Cassandra herself had been a Bond girl to Roger Moore in For Your Eyes Only in 1981.
Speaking shortly after his late wife’s death, he said: ‘When your partner gets cancer, then life changes. Your timetable and reference for your normal routines and the way you view life, all this changes.
‘Because you’re dealing with death. You’re dealing with the possibility of death and dying.
‘I mean, she [Cassandra] had the most amazing energy and outlook on life. It was and is a terrible loss, and I see it reflected, from time to time, in my children,’
Pierce shares two sons with Keely – 23-year-old Dylan and 19-year-old Paris – and is also father to 36-year-old Sean from his marriage to Cassandra.
The actor also adopted Charlotte and Christopher Brosnan, Cassandra’s children from her first marriage to husband Dermot Harris.
He is also a grandfather to Charlotte’s children – Isabella and Lucas – as well as Sean’s daughter, Marley May.
