A photographer set up an adorable photoshoot for a newborn – but set the internet ablaze by using a gorgeous baby piglet instead of the usual human newborn.
Cashlie White, owner of Cashlie Joy Photography, said in a Facebook post that she took the photo of the piglet named ‘Dynamite’ in Washington, Oklahoma for a local farm.
White said that she used all the techniques she learned from taking pictures of newborns and applied them to working with Dynamite.
‘(Dynamite) got a bath before the shoot and I used all of my newborn shooshing and swaddling tricks, just like a regular newborn session,’ White said. ‘She went to sleep In my arms! We kept her warm and the room quiet and she was OUT and in Hog Heaven!’
White said that Dynamite is the runt of her litter, but is also a show pig who was born to hog up the spotlight
‘After the shoot she woke up and was on the run back to momma,’ White said.
The pictures quickly swept the Internet. White said she was ‘blown away by the response,’ but made sure to remind people that these baby piglets are looking for home.
‘If you’re interested in Dynamite or any of her brothers or sisters they’re available,’ White said.
The pictures were taken at Hamilton Farms which breeds show pigs in Oklahoma.
‘This shows the hard work and dedication from our local farmers and ranchers,’ White said. ‘What a great spotlight for the Agricultural Community.’
