Phoebe Dynevor just unveiled the most stunning 'sunset hair' and we predict we'll all be copying

Even more lockdown restrictions are lifting today (we can meet indoors! We can travel abroad – sort of! We can have sex!) so if you haven’t already made an appointment with your hairdresser, now could be the time to get back in the hot seat.

Luckily there’s a plethora of post-pandemic hair trends doing the rounds now that salons are open again, from the pixie cut 2.0 and money piece highlights to ribbon blonde and the modern mullet.

If you prefer turning to your favourite celebrities for the ultimate inspiration, Phoebe Dynevor just set a major summer hair colour trend that we’re dubbing ‘sunset hair’. A photo of the Bridgerton star rocking the new hue was posted on Instagram by the team at Josh Wood (who gave her the fresh new look) and fans are going wild for it.

Phoebe has always championed copper hair but she’s taken hers a shade deeper as we head into (hopefully) better weather. It’s reminiscent of a fiery Ibizan sunset and while we can’t fly to the Balearics yet, Phoebe proves there’s no reason your hair can’t.

Of all the shades, red hair is the one really having its time in the spotlight RN.

Remember when Dua Lipa debuted a bright cherry-red bob last summer, then Kim Kardashian-West followed suit not long after?

Since then, our Instagram feeds have been full of red hair inspo, from the hi-vis cherry shades favoured by the Kardashian-Jenners to the deep, merlot shades seen on the likes of Love Island‘s Samira Mighty, to the true red on Anna Taylor-Joy in The Queen’s Gambit, and the natural, pale copper hues we’re currently coveting on GLAMOUR cover star Abigail Cowen.

Convinced now?
