Phillip Schofield stunned fans when he took to his Instagram stories and shared a short clip of himself wearing a floor-length skirt. The This Morning host revealed he is taking new measures to keep everyone at a safe distance while at work.
The 58-year-old shared a glimpse into life behind the scenes as he strolled down the corridor at ITV’s studios.
In view of his 3.2 million followers, Phillip rocked a billowing white garment as he glided towards the camera.
He announced: “Until the vaccine is fully-operational I shall be wearing this to keep me Covid safe and people at their distance.”
Phillip then abruptly turned left and disappeared off into This Morning’s backstage area.

It comes after the This Morning host put on an animated display about the promising coronavirus vaccine results announced by Pfizer earlier this week, insisting he would take it today if he could.
The initial findings show that the vaccine has a 90 per cent effectiveness in preventing symptomatic Covid-19 infection.
Speaking on This Morning, Phillip said: “It’s the only good news.
“We have been talking about the fact we have been lacking in good news, I swear if a nurse came in with one now on a plate, I’d have it.”
“It’s difficult to know quite what Christmas is going to be, nobody knows just yet what we are going to be allowed to do, how many people we’ll be allowed to see,” Phillip explained.
“But I think Christmas will signal the beginning of the end of 2020, a year that none of us will be sad to see the back of, and hopefully look forward to 2021 where things will begin to get that little bit more normal, and that we can all creep back blinking into the light.”
The This Morning host explained that Christmas may be a “smaller” celebration for his family this year.
Phillip, who shares grown-up daughters Molly, 27, and Ruby, 24, with his wife Stephanie Lowe, said an intimate celebration could be “amazing.”
He said: “So Christmas this year, maybe it will be amazing because we will be forced to be a little smaller, we’ll be forced to adapt our Christmases.
“We don’t know quite who the family will be able to see at Christmas but human beings are very resourceful and whatever Christmas is, well I am sure we will all make the most of it!”
His programme, which was recorded in October ahead of the second lockdown, followed strict COVID-19 regulations, but Phillip said viewers would be none the wiser.
