Phillip Schofield net worth 2020: How much does the This Morning presenter earn?

Phillip Schofield’s net worth has allegedly grown by £800,000 after a pay rise and a number of new deals.

The 58-year-old This Morning presenter’s wealth has reportedly hit £2.5 million, according to Companies House accounts.

Schofield reportedly had £1.7 million the year prior.

The Sun reported on Monday, September 7 that Schofield’s increased wealth stems from a £1.45 million book deal for his autobiography after he came out as gay, and a £60,000 deal to become the face of a gin advent calendar.

“Phillip may be two years off 60, but he’s still a telly powerhouse – and very much in demand,” a source told the publication.

“He’s ambitious, and quite rightly has no desire to slow down any time soon.”

Last year, it was reported that Schofield and his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby nabbed £150,000 more for working an extra half an hour each day from January.

After the cancellation of Jeremy Kyle, This Morning’s airtime was increased by 30 minutes, and insiders told the Daily Mirror an extra £300,000 had been allocated to pay Willoughby and Schofield for the additional time.

Willoughby and Schofield have been social distancing while hosting This Morning for months, but were finally able to share a hug through a plastic sheet earlier in September.

The sheet had special arm coverings to allow the pair to put their arms around one another without actually touching.

“Is it weird that I’m really excited about this?” said Willoughby.

“If you’d have done this this time last year, I’d have thought you were some kind of weirdo, however this year, I’m all over this.”

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
