Phil Vickery, 59, has shared a rare insight into his personal life following his shock split from his estranged wife Fern Britton, 63. The This Morning chef doesn’t often speak about the couple’s separation, which was confirmed in January 2020.
However, he has now reassured fans that he is “completely happy” despite his break-up from Fern after 20 years together.
When quizzed on how he is doing following their recent split, Phil confirmed in a new interview: “[I’m] completely happy.
“The kids are all good.”
The television stars share daughter Winnie, 17, together.

“Everyone’s got a shelf life, I’ll go one day, but when I do I’ll shake their hands and I’ll say thank you, I’ve had a good run.”
It comes after Fern, who first met Phil on the set of This Morning, admitted she misses the companionship of being in a marriage.
Fern said: “I am enjoying not having to share life with somebody else. I’m not a man-hater. Men are great.
“I don’t think I’m prepared to hand over my autonomy just yet.”
She added: “That’s not to say I don’t miss being married, because I have been married to two incredible husbands for over 30 years, so I have been married for a very long time – two very interesting men who survived being married to me.”
The author went on to address how “difficult” and “painful” her split was in a chat with The Mirror back in October last year.
Fern said: “It is difficult and it is painful but let’s skip over that…
“I am not looking for anybody else.”
