Phil Collins pictured in wheelchair before falling over on-stage on Not Dead Yet Tour

Phil Collins took a scary tumble on-stage at the latest show on his Not Dead Yet tour, but continued on with the night like an absolute trooper.

The Against All Odds singer performed at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday when the incident took place.

Footage obtained by TMZ shows Phil walking back towards his chair using a walking stick but he seemed to lose his balance as he sat down.

The clip then shows the 68-year-old falling backwards onto the floor before his son, Nicholas who plays the drums, and others rushed to his aid.

But like a true professional, Phil gave a thumbs up and continued with the show wearing a smile on his face like a true professional.

Earlier in the week, the legendary British rocker was seen arriving at the Infinite Energy Center in Atlanta, Georgia where he had a show, before being escorted from a car and into a wheelchair.

The musician was in good spirits and kindly took the time to sign an autograph for a fan before heading inside the venue.

Last year, Phil suffered a nasty gash to the head when he tripped on his way to his hotel bathroom. He was promptly taken to hospital where he underwent surgery to treat the injury before being kept in overnight for observation.

It was previously revealed that Phil suffers from drop foot following an earlier operation.

In 2016, the In The Air Tonight singer spoke out about the condition at a press conference, explaining: ‘I had back surgery a year ago.

‘I’d messed my hips up as well. That was a year ago and as of now I have a dropped foot, which means I have no feeling in it. I walk with a cane, but I’m hoping that gets better.’

Fans of the iconic singer were devastated in 2011 when Phil announced he would be retiring as he could no longer play the drums.

He said at the time: ‘After a successful operation on my neck, my hands still can’t function normally.
