Peter Andre wants to be frozen when he dies even though he 'loves the heat'

Singer turned reality star Peter Andre might have had a long and successful career, but he doesn’t intend for that to stop making plans once he dies.

The Aussie singer, who married Katie Price and had children with her before they divorced, has lots more plans for the future.

Peter, who is still making music and is now happily married to Emily, the mother of his two other children, intends to stick around if he can by being cryogenetically frozen.

The sci fi sounding process is the practice of freezing a person who has died of a disease in hopes of restoring life at some future time when a cure for the disease has been developed.

Peter, now 48, said he has been looking further than a traditional burial or cremation.

In his latest new! magazine column, he wrote: “TV star Gyles Brandreth has said he wants to be mummified when he dies.

“That sounds a bit too creepy to me but the thing that has always appealed to me, just purely out of curiosity, is being cryogenically frozen. ‘There is something about it that sounds so cool.”

However, Peter ,who is used to roasting temperatures down under admits the cold scares him, despite the fact he’ll be dead.

He added: “But the only thing I don’t like about it is that it ain’t going to be warm – I’m an Aussie and I love the heat!”

Peter spoke of his plans for life after death after his ex-wife Katie Price announced her engagement to boyfriend Carl Woods.

The pair confirmed their engagement on Tuesday detailing a shoot with OK! Magazine.
