Peter Andre can’t believe his kids are growing up so fast.
The Mysterious Girl singer – who has Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, with his ex Katie Price and Amelia, seven, and Theodore, four, with his current spouse Emily MacDonagh – admits it is “scary” seeing his eldest children growing up.
He can’t believe how his son Junior likes going to college now, after admitting the teenager would have done anything to have a sick day in the past.
“Similarly, I can’t believe how Junior is loving college. It’s like he’s a different kid,” he wrote in his column for new! magazine.
“When he was going to school, he jumped at the chance of a day off, whereas now he’d say, ‘No thanks’. It’s scary to see him so grown up but it’s also wonderful.”
Equally, Peter can’t believe how fast his daughter Princess is growing up, too.
He added: “I posted a photo on my Instagram of Princess looking all grown up on her first day back at school.
“God help me with that one, she’s growing up so fast! She’s such a sweetheart and has a great sense of humour.
“I keep telling her, ‘Keep being you, you’re brilliant.'”
Peter joked his daughter should become a nun as he shared a back to school snap of her.
“And another one back to school. @officialprincess_andre god help me with this one,” he captioned the post along with a shocked face.
“To be fair, you are making me so proud sweetie. You have a lovely heart and a lovely sense of humour. Now, about becoming a nun……….. #backtoschool #family.”
He also shared a video of his son Junior heading off to college on a moped.
“And just like that my boy is at college,” he wrote alongside a clip of Junior checking the road before he drove off.
“Days like this scare me but also make me proud. He’s becoming a man @officialjunior_andre.”
And Peter will be hoping the sibling duo will soon find their own relationships and start a family as he’s very keen to have grandkids.
“Me being 48, I hope she doesn’t. I’ve had loads of kids, I’m happy, she’s so wonderful and she’s an incredible mum,” he told ITV’s Loose Women when asked if he wants more children.
“I said to her, ‘Don’t forget, you might want more kids but think about how our kids will grow older and maybe one of them will bring us children! And then we can do it all again but we can also hand them back!”
