We’ve finally got our hands on eFootball PES 2020, which means we’ve been able to have a good look at this year’s official ratings.
Looking at this year’s wingers, there are some big, big scores. Here, RealSport looks at the seven best speedsters and tricky wingers that you can use to terrorise fullbacks on this year’s PES.
So where will Liverpool’s electric duo rank? And what of the man on fire, Raheem Sterling?

1. Lionel Messi (OVR 94)
Position: RWF
Age: 32
Club: Barcelona
Country: Argentina
Despite being used through the centre in recent seasons at Barcelona, Messi is listed as an RWF in this year’s PES and therefore tops this year’s list of wingers. Messi is now 32 but he’s still the man that embodies the beautiful game and can light up a pitch like no other.
It is unfortunate that Barcelona’s Copa del Rey final defeat and capitulation in Liverpool will sully what was yet another wonderful Messi season – he scored 36 league goals in 34 games, numbers almost normalised by Messi’s brilliance. The best player in the game stays on 94.
2. Neymar (OVR 92)

Age: 27
Club: Paris Saint-Germain
Country: Brazil
2018/19 was a strange season for Neymar, dominating the headlines for his antics off the field more than his actions on it. Neymar’s ultimately doomed on-off return to Barcelona became the story of the summer, maybe to a point where football fans were sick of hearing about it.
Before that, he landed himself in hot water over some critical comments about the officiating during PSG’s Champions League exit. His rating drops by one point after a season during which he was injured at the wrong times.
3. Eden Hazard (OVR 91)
Position: LWF
Age: 28
Club: Madrid Chamartin B (Real Madrid)
Country: Belgium
The man with as good a claim as any to be the third-best player in the world ranks third in our list of wingers. If Hazard is indeed the next best after Ronaldo and Messi, this is the year to prove it, having finally sealed his blockbuster move to Real Madrid for around €100 plus add-ons.

Perhaps his biggest danger is being compared to Ronaldo by Madrid fans, the man whose void he has been signed to fill. Hazard will not hit Ronaldo numbers, but he’ll improve those around him enough to galvanise an attack found wanting last season.
4. Mohamed Salah (OVR 90)
Position: RWF
Age: 27
Club: Liverpool R
Country: Egypt
Liverpool’s Champions League victory was redemption for Mohamed Salah, having left the field injured in the previous season’s final loss. After such a brilliant opening season in Merseyside, many were expecting Salah to fail to live up to the high bar he’d set.
Those hoping he would disappoint were disappointed themselves – Salah tied for the Premier League Golden Boot and re-affirmed himself as one of the game’s global stars.
5. Raheem Sterling (OVR 89)
Position: LWF
Age: 24
Club: Manchester B (Manchester City)
Country: England
Raheem Sterling is deservedly the biggest climber on this year’s list, having been one of the stars of last season. He scored 17 and assisted ten in the Premier League and established himself as Manchester City’s main attacking threat.
Not only that, he was just as commendable off the field, becoming a spokesperson for issues of racism in football. He shows no signs of slowing down, hitting over a goal-per-game in the opening four games of this season.
6. Sadio Mane (OVR 86 – 89)
Position: LWF
Age: 27
Club: Liverpool R
Country: Senegal
If things had panned just a little differently, Mane could have had an even more successful 2018/19 than Bernardo Silva. Mane’s Liverpool lost out on the Premier League title by a mere point, while his Senegal team lost in the African Cup of Nations final.

A Champions League winners’ medal, however, is a pretty fine consolation for Mane. He had a wonderful season last year, sharing the Premier League golden boot with league 22 goals.
7. Bernardo Silva (OVR 88)
Position: RWF
Age: 26
Club: Manchester B (Manchester City)
Country: Portugal
We can’t think of a footballer to have a more successful year than Bernardo Silva. Not only did he win a domestic treble with Manchester City, but he secured Nations League glory with Portugal.
In terms of individual performance, his second season in Manchester was a significant improvement on his first, earning himself a nomination for Premier League Player of the Year and proving himself as a worthy successor to City legend David Silva.
