Perrie Edwards moans she's 'cooking and cleaning' for boyfriend in lockdown

Perrie Edwards has spoken about life in self-isolation after the lockdown was announced to try and stem the spread of coronavirus.

The 26-year-old Little Mix star has been living with her footballer boyfriend, Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

It hasn’t been a romantic hunker down for the pair though, with Perrie bemoaning that all she seems to have done is ‘cook and clean’ for Alex, as he tries to stay in shape while the football season is in hiatus.

The Premier League won’t be starting again until April 30 at the earliest and Perrie and Alex have been self-isolating in their London home, in the hope of avoiding the potentially fatal virus.

The couple have confined themselves to their fancy home where they have been filling the hours compiling moves and dancing if their Instagrams were anything to go by as of late

Speaking to Kiss radio, Perrie told: “I have a house – well, my boyfriend and I have a house in Manchester and a house in London, so we were originally in Manchester together and then we decided to come to London.

“I kind of wish we’d stayed in Manchester rather than London ‘cos there’s more to do there, like in his house.

“But we have got a lovely house in London with a little garden so Hatchi’s alright. It’s just weird, isn’t it? Not being able to leave the house, because I have been isolating for ages now.”

When asked about what she has been up to while shut away from the world outside, Perrie said: “I haven’t been doing any exercise! I’ve been watching loads of Netflix, I started Money Heist which is unreal.

“I’ve been singing a little bit, I’ve been cooking a lot because my boyfriend is never full, like try isolating with an athlete!

“Trying to ration your food and every five seconds ‘I’m hungry! I’m hungry again. Can I have some food now?’ I’m like, seriously?

“I’ve been baking, which I never do. I baked a banana bread cake the other day.

“It’s the best cake nobody will ever be able to taste. We were FaceTiming all our family like ‘if only you could taste this right now’.”

The pair have also been taking popular app TikTok by storm when their video of them dancing together went viral.

Speaking about the clip, Perrie revealed: “And TikToking – I absolutely love TikTok, I can’t believe I haven’t had it until now.”

There is one bugbear that is grating on Perrie and it is the one issue that has prompted rows between the pair.

She continued: “I’m probably this close to burning, or just cutting straight through the wire of the PlayStation.

“There’s going to be a situation here.

“Honestly, even just sat in the lounge trying to Netflix and chill there’s just ‘It’s behind you mate behind you urghhh’.

“I’m like ‘Stop with the PlayStation for two seconds!'”
