Perrie Edwards has opened up about her “healthy relationship” with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who she praised for loving her despite being a “weirdo”.
The Little Mix singer said their relationship works because he is “perfection”.
Speaking to Notion she said: “I’m a little creep sometimes, I’m a little weirdo. And he loves me for that, and that’s why I’m like, ‘Woohoo!’ You know? I don’t have to put on a front and be this perfect girlfriend.
“He’s like, perfection. He’s not too much, he’s not too clingy, but he’s not too cool for school. He’s got a perfect balance, he’s super supportive of everything I do, which is so nice.”
She continued: “He just wants the best for me, as do I him. So it’s just a lovely balanced healthy relationship, and I love it.
“It’s a breath of fresh air.”
Edwards and Oxlade Chamberlain, both 25, have been dating since November 2016 and recently moved in together.
Her interview comes days after she revealed she is ‘obsessed’ with the Liverpool midfielder who she recently filmed working out topless at their home.
“Might be a little inappropriate but I have a serious obsession with this man,” she wrote alongside a black and white image. “I just want to lick him. That is all.”
In February, Oxlade Chamberlain hinted that he is looking to put a ring on Edwards’ finger after nodding, smiling and then winking when asked about plans to propose by The Sun.

Edwards isn’t the only loved up Little Mixer right now, with Chris Hughes last week paying tribute to Jesy Nelson on her birthday.
“Happy birthday to a best friend, my better half and the most caring person I could have wished to meet,” he wrote alongside a handful of pictures of them together.
“Every day is better now. The fact I love you when I’m hungry says it all. The core to my [apple emoji]… have the best day and keep on shining, you deserve the world.”
Jade Thirwall is also in a relationship with musician Jed Elliott, while Leigh-Anne Pinnock dates footballer Andre Gray.
