Packing for a holiday is the perfect excuse to start getting excited, but if you are not aware of your designated luggage allowance, you could be faced with some unexpected fees at the airport. Though luggage allowance varies between airline and cabin, across the board those with economy tickets and flying on budget carries tend to be allotted far less for free.
However, there is one bag which a travel influencer has described as “perfect” for those jetting off with economy hand luggage allowance on a Jet2, easyJet or TUI flight. In a TikTok video Evelyn, who runs @evelynstravelzone, recommended the Cabin Max Anode TwinWheel suitcase as a “perfect hand luggage only suitcase for a variety of airlines including Jet2, TUI, easyJet and British Airways. In a video, she shows herself sliding the yellow suitcase under the seat in front of her with ease.
In a comment, she added: “All the airlines mentioned allow around 55cm for economy tickets and this is 45cm, so it’s for hand luggage.”
The Cabin Max suitcase is a great option, as it measures 45 x 36 x 30cm. For customers flying with Jet2, each passenger it entitled to one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 10kg and measuring up to 56 x 45 x 25cm.
Those jetting off with TUI can bring one piece of hand luggage onboard measuring no more than 55 x 40 x 20cm. Passengers must be able to lift this into the overhead storage compartment.
And if you’ve booked an easyJet flight, you’ll be entitled to one small cabin bag per person free of charge. This can be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20cm, though this also includes any handles or wheels. Your bag can weigh up to 15kg, but the airline does ask that you’re able to lift and carry it yourself.

If you do plan on purchasing the Cabin Max suitcase, its worth noting that the brand does offer a variety of size options, so make sure to select the 45 x 36 x 30cm option. Compared with some other hard shell suitcases, the twin wheel bag won’t break the bank, currently on offer at Amazon for £44.95.
Customers have rated the bag 4.6 out of five on the platform, describing it as “excellent”. A reviewer named Adam said: “Purchased as wanted a hand luggage case that was within airline measurements.
“Very good, sturdy case and a lovely colour. Excellent size, a lot bigger than expected. Zips very good. Brilliant, reliable little suitcase and lightweight also. Had no problems With the case and can see it lasting a while.”
