Peppa Pig has launched her first album (creatively named My First Album) and we’re already obsessed with it.

Could it become the next Baby Shark? You never know.

After becoming an internet sensation, the cartoon pig has dipped a toe (or a trotter) into the music world, releasing her 16-track record.

Harley Bird, the voice of Peppa, is featured on several of the tracks, which include Bing Bong Zoo, Super Potato’s Theme, and Jumping In Muddy Puddles.

They sound like hits in the making TBH.

With Iggy Azalea also releasing an album this week, the rapper took to Twitter to declare: ‘It’s over for me now.’

Peppa has seen huge success over the past couple of years, with Harley previously appearing on Good Morning Britain.

The 17-year-old told Metro.co.uk: ‘ ‘I think it was after I was on Good Morning Britain that people started to recognise me more.

‘I’ve met so many friends from this. I’ve had people run after me in the street and chase me a bit to come and say hello.

‘It’s so crazy. I’ll be in London with my friends and someone will come up to me and be like, “Can I have a photo?”. I just think that’s so cool.

‘Obviously there are the rare occasions where there are people just snorting at you, but I don’t think they mean it in a bad way. Otherwise I really enjoy it.’

However, things haven’t all been smooth sailing for the anthropomorphic pig, after she was banned in China and Australia.

Bit gutting.

The character took on a darker meaning there, ending up featuring in gang-related rap videos and tattoos.

While it may seem impossible to believe, Peppa is reportedly seen as a symbol of rebellion in the country and has had the ban slapped on her after frequently ending up on the Chinese video-sharing site Douyin.

There were apparently at least 30,000 video clips uploaded using Peppa Pig hashtags on the platform.

Luckily the album is a bit more family friendly.
