JENNIFER Aniston was sure to thank her Friends co-stars for the part they played in her career as she was honoured at the People’s Choice Awards 2019.
The Hollywood actress was named the People’s Icon on the night and she was quick to thank all those who had made her achievement possible.

Following an introduction from her Murder Mystery co-star Adam Sandler, Jen stated: “This town doles out a lot of awards, but the People’s Choice, this was always something special to me.
“As actors, we don’t do this for the critics or for each other or to make our families proud, we do this for the money,” she said. “I’m kidding…we do it for you guys. C’mon, seriously, we really do.”
She continued: “When I had first heard that I had won this Icon Award the first thing I thought was, ‘Holy shnicks, have I been around that long? It turns out I have.”
Jen added: “Friends was truly the gift of a lifetime and i would not be standing up here without that amazing show and those amazing five other actors and with an audience who stuck with us for a decade and through streaming services now, and syndication and I’m sure coming to a watch soon near you or something!

“But anyway, you believed in us, you really did, and you believed in those very impossible large apartments, but you had to believe it because we were telling our story. But it’s paved the way for everything that I’ve had the chance to do since.”
She concluded: “Thank you for being on this journey with me and I just love you guys. Thank you for sticking by me!”

The 45th E! People’s Choice Awards saw a host of A-list stars descend upon Barker Hangar in Santa Monica California.
The stars posed up a storm on the red carpet before filing into the building to find out who would walk away with a gong.
With 43 different nomination categories, stars like Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Cardi B, Drake, Sophie Turner and Jameela Jamil were all in the running to get a nod.
Meanwhile, Pink WAS honoured with the People’s Champion of 2019 Award while Gwen Stefani nabbed the Fashion Icon Award.
The fan-voted show went without a host this year, as more awards shows opt to go use a multitude of presenters rather than the classic comedic host.
